Once the purchase is completed, the customer will receive a unique gift card code via email and instructions on how to use it.
The subject of the email is “Your gift card is ready”.
It is automatically sent to the customer's email address when the order status changes to "Paid".
Once the email is received, the customer can forward it or send the gift card link via SMS or via a messaging app.
To receive the link, the customer must press the "View gift card" button in the email.
The page that opens by following the link contains all the necessary information: a link to the shop where you can use the gift card, the current balance of the card, instructions for use.
The recipient of the card can use it to purchase any product available in the store. To redeem the card, at checkout you will need to enter the card code contained in the email in the appropriate field. The field automatically appears in the store once you set up a gift card.
The same gift card can be used to place multiple orders, until the available balance is exhausted. The customer can see the remaining balance by pressing the "View Gift Card" button in the confirmation email or after applying a gift card at checkout.
If the order total exceeds the available balance on the gift card, the customer must pay the difference using one of the other methods accepted by the store.
